The first single from her forthcoming EP on the label. Fuelled by the aggressions of New York City life, ‘CA$HED UP’ captures the frustration, noise, and urgency of living on the edge. BRUX and Surya Sen trade hypnotic vocal mantras - “cashed up… washed out… fired up… burnt out…” - over cash register glitches, ticking percussion, and corporate-slick pads, before the track explodes into a chaotic blend of clattering drums and heavy bass. “This tune came about spontaneously during a writing session with Harry (Baauer) in an 1800s historic carriage house in the Lower East Side of Manhattan,” BRUX shares. “It reflects the strong energy I feel in this city—loud, relentless, and raw. Surya Sen jumped on the hook, and his vocals perfectly add to the grittiness of the track.” Subscribe on YouTube → http://youtube.com/luckyme?sub_confirmation=1 Follow on IG → http://instagram.com/luckyme Follow on Twitter → http://twitter.com/luckyme (LM120S1D) BRUX - CA$HED UP - March 05 2025
