Defected’s 2025 version of ‘Natural Blues’ reimagined Moby’s seminal original, connecting across both club and streaming worlds, reaching No.1 in Beatport’s House chart before surpassing 10 million streams across all DSPs, all while remaining a fixture on major editorial playlists and radio stations all across the globe. Now the artists unveil a new version inspired by one of the most talked-about live moments of 2026: BLOND:ISH and Jacob Lusk’s viral Coachella performance, which sparked huge online demand for an official release. One of the most commanding vocalists in contemporary music, Jacob Lusk brings an unmistakable emotional quality to the record, transforming Moby’s iconic record into its most soulful and expansive form. BLOND:ISH’s uplifting piano flourishes and radiant synth work remain at the heart of the production, while Kiko Franco’s melodic Afro house-inspired arrangements drive the record firmly towards peak-time dancefloors. Bridging festival euphoria, underground house and timeless songwriting, this new incarnation of ‘Natural Blues’ arrives with the rare momentum of a track that has already proven its global appeal and now feels set for an even bigger chapter.
