Channelling a refined Ibiza energy, ‘In My Ear’ unfolds with warm, percussive textures and late-night atmospherics, offering a more stripped-back, sophisticated take on the terrace sound. Anchored by it’s mesmerising female vocal that repeats the line, “Whisper in my ear, what you desire, what you fear,” the track slips into a zone of deep, sensual tension, prime for the tail end of summer. It’s the kind of track designed not to dominate a room, but to draw dancers into a groove with both artists exploring a more refined, emotionally resonant side of tech house, whether it’s something intimate yet club-ready, with enough weight for a warm-up set or an extended sunrise session. For Tom Zeta, known for releases on labels like Stil vor Talent and EIN2, this collaboration with one of dance music’s biggest names marks a standout moment in his growing discography. A welcomed collaboration on Green Room, this latest release further extends Like Mike’s creative vision with the label for music that sits outside the commercial sphere. ‘In My Ear’ is available now via Green Room.
