Honing her sound through the East London scene before her viral smash hit ‘B.O.T.A. (Baddest Of Them All)’ arrived in 2022, her latest track ‘Weekend’, also written by Eliza, is certain to be heard on dancefloors worldwide too, with its infectious vocals and synth earworm. “The Trip are a duo I have known for years from my very short stint as a south London girlie. They have been in non-stop rotation across the underground scene, traversing genres with their infectious party starters; here, they have offered up the perfect slice of 90s nostalgia. To have the track out on Defected was the cherry on the hedonistic cake, a label I have loved and respected for years. They have released so many tracks that have inspired my sound, and it is a pleasure to be working with the Defected family. Hope everyone is ready to get down on the weekend BBY! ” – Eliza Rose Follow our Defected 2025 Playlist: https://defstream.lnk.to/Defected2025 Music: https://defected.lnk.to/Music Shop: https://store.defected.com Defected YouTube is the home of house music with artists including MK, Sam Divine, CamelPhat, Gorgon City, Monki, Louie Vega & Dennis Ferrer.
