HotLap is a dynamic DJ and producer duo comprising Joris Mur from the Netherlands and Chris Mears from the UK. With a combined experience of over 18 years in the music industry, they've collaborated with renowned artists like Vintage Culture, Claptone, Alok, and Sidepiece, and have worked closely with vocalists such as Magnus, Rhodes, and Nathan Nicholson. Their music seamlessly blends Afro House, Berlin Minimal, Melodic Techno, and Melodic House, creating a unique sound that has garnered support from industry heavyweights like Adriatique, CamelPhat, Carlita, and Eli & Fur. Tracks like "You & I," "Set You Free," and their remix of "Bad Memories" showcase their ability to craft infectious rhythms and emotive melodies. In 2025, HotLap embarked on their first European tour, performing at festivals and headline shows across Turkey, Morocco, the UK, and Belgium. Their collaborative single "Back Up" with Samm, Ajna, and Benni Ola further solidified their presence in the electronic music scene.
