FADE INTO NOTHING... Another day, another song. Getting back to the roots here with a more melodic, psychedelic journey record. I always love producing and collaborating with Arlo. Besides the fact that he's one of my best friends + lives in LA, I don't think creatively I've ever resonated more // had similar tendencies with anyone else. We produce in almost identical manners, so it's fun to go in the studio with no plan whatsoever and just pass the computer back and forth for hours on end. The day just flies by and the next thing you know you realize you have been messing with a flanger for 90 minutes just to get that 2nd drop sound design right in this one XD. Having Lizzy Land as a collaborator was a dream. I remember hearing her collab with Odd Mob and knowing I'd have to reach out to try and work together. After playing phone tag for a few months, we finally connected and wrote this on a sunny day in Santa Monica. I love artists who are just down to create for the sake of creating, and that's exactly what we did. We wrote some cool chords and then immediately started songwriting. The rest is history. Along with the music, the music video feels like the perfect representation of the energy that this song embodies. Drove deep into Malibu to a state park to shoot this one. I had to pull a wagon with the moog, mic, and piano for like 2 miles and that was not fun, and NOT good for my back. Shoutout Mark though for spending so much time and creative energy and ensuring this video came to life, absolutely crushed it. Been working on some darker, more techier things to come later this year. One more melodic one first. Calm before the storm. -Murph Produced/Edited: Mark Urbina PA / Videographer: Carson Higbie LISTEN NOW: https://stem.ffm.to/fadeintonothing FOLLOW IT'S MURPH: https://instagram.com/itsmurph https://tiktok.com/@itsmurphmusic https://soundcloud.com/its-murph-987074444 https://linktr.ee/itsmurph
