Description

hey everyone, as some of you know, a few years ago we lost my dad very tragically. after a lifelong struggle with his demons, he took the ultimate decision to end his life in november of 2023. back when i was a kid, my dad had this sick mercedes. lots of cool features but the one that always stood out was the heated seats. i loved it so much and always said once i have one of those, i'll know i've made it. shortly before he passed i had finally bought my own mercedes. not quite as cool as his, but it still felt special. when he died i realised i had never been able to drive with him in the passenger seat. he never got to even see the car in real life. i knew i had to make something that encapsulated that feeling. bringing me to 2025 (last year) where i had this guitar riff for ages and ended up sitting down with some friends and writing this song. i truly believe this is my favourite song i have ever written. i came up with this idea for this video when i wrote the song, but i gave it to the kid apollo guys and they fleshed it out and made it what it is. what came after was extremely special. we shot this video last week and i'm so excited for you to see it. thank you for all the support. album out 4th September.
