Description

The SOSA team reunites at the cottage for a rare chance to slow down, reflect, and focus on the future of what we’re building together. We started off our trip with a drive down to Toronto to attend the Jane Goodall event, which was an amazing opportunity for us to see her before her recent passing. We then make our way over to where this all started, the heart of SOSA, the Moynes Cottage. We held presentations, shared ideas, and talked through each team member’s role and vision for pushing the mission forward. From storytelling and conservation projects to future expeditions and partnerships, this trip gave us the space to align and dream bigger. But it wasn’t all work. Between meetings, we made sure to enjoy the experience, fishing on the lake, game nights, quizzes, and plenty of laughs. And in true SOSA fashion, we even headed out for some late-night critter catching, finding frogs, snakes, and all sorts of wildlife around the cottage. This episode offers a behind-the-scenes look at the people, personalities, and passion that drive SOSA forward.
