Marsh, ALLKNIGHT - Run Away (Live from Anjunadeep Open Air London) 'Run Away' is out now on Marshan Records: https://orcd.co/mrshn004 Upcoming album ‘Home’ out on November 3rd on @marshanrecords Pre-save NOW: https://orcd.co/mrshn005 Watch the full set from Royal Naval College - https://youtu.be/oeiUVmMPjus?si=BiSFA7dNo__plmPd -- ‘Run Away’ actually started out with a completely different vocal. The instrumental was the same, and I loved the vibe, but the original vocal didn’t quite work out, leaving me with an instrumental I was really excited about, but no vocal. Fast forward to a night in London catching up with Jodie. She played me a new acapella she’d written for me, actually to one of my other tracks (you’re welcome to try guessing which one in the comments!). I instantly knew the vocal was a hit, and I figured it could be cool to try it over this instrumental I had sitting in my back pocket. The next day, I got to work in my temporary Worthing home studio, which I sometimes use when I’m staying there between European tour stops. The vocal fit perfectly, it took the original vocal idea to another level and I was so pumped about what we had. Purely from an instrumental perspective, I love the journey of ‘Run Away’ and the way it builds and progresses into the chorus. It still gets me fired up every time I hear it drop. Jodie has once again written something so memorable and catchy, she’s incredibly talented and has this amazing ability to seemingly pull these vocals out of nowhere. I’m stoked to finally have this one out so you guys can get familiar with the lyrics and sing along at the shows! - Marsh -- Music / Tour tickets / Official Marsh Merchandise: https://www.marshmusician.com Mailing List Sign Up: https://drop.cobrand.com/d/Marsh/updates Follow Marsh: Youtube: https://www.youtube.com/@Marshmusician Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/marshmusician Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/marshmusician X: https://twitter.com/marshmusician Tiktok: https://www.tiktok.com/@marshmusician Soundcloud: https://soundcloud.com/marshmusician Spotify: https://open.spotify.com/artist/1eucLGnPT27tdEh6MU29wp?si=poi48Ru-Qfa77inbq9Ohkg Apple Music: https://music.apple.com/us/artist/marsh/2432180 Amazon Music: https://music.amazon.co.uk/artists/B001E79P3Q/marsh Follow Marshan Records: Youtube: https://www.youtube.com/@MarshanRecords Soundcloud: https://on.soundcloud.com/MgljldpouFaa6eaApl X: https://twitter.com/marshanrecords Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/marshanrecords/ Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/share/1HrmNNqVAX/?mibextid=wwXIfr Tiktok: https://www.tiktok.com/@marshanrecords
