Description

“‘BELIEF SYSTEMS’ was quite simple in its intent. I wanted to write a grungy stepper with newish mid-basses, while also recalling drum and bass tunes from the 2010s by good friends of mine like Jubei, Alix Perez & Dbridge - I love the music by those producers that manage to combine both ugly and delicate textures. During this period of writing, my studio was in a room where everything with the bass hitting in D sounded utterly amazing [‘User’ would be another track in the same key written in this room]. Of course, this doesn’t always translate well into club settings as the sub-bass is very low, but as an exercise in sheer artistic indulgence, it was very enjoyable to write!” -------------- BUY/STREAM "CONTENT" EP // https://www.smarturl.it/content_ep BUY DIRECT // https://obsoletemedium.bandcamp.com/album/content-ep -------------- **FOLLOW** SPOTIFY // https://tinyurl.com/ve939pj INSTAGRAM // https://www.instagram.com/Tom_Rockwell TWITTER // https://www.twitter.com/Tom_Rockwell FACEBOOK // https://www.facebook.com/rockwelldnb
