Musically, it's been a period of refreshment, reflection, and shifting perspectives. Living here in Glasgow for the past year and everything that's done to and for me, I can't help but reflect on the past that built me into who I am. These tunes I've taken a crack at reworking all reflect certain moments of my life, some of which are more significant to me now than they were at the time. Each edit is my effort to capture these feelings and translate them into drum & bass. There's so much crossover between hip-hop & dnb that hasn't yet been explored, and I am constantly driven by the need to fuse the two. Not because no one has, but because no one has like me (there's that hip-hop bravado). Anyway, on the technical side of things, the usual process of finding the original samples, recreating the loops, and dropping in bits of the vocal to taste 🥘 Love you all. See you when I see you. Enjoy the music. winslow 🦸🏿‍♂️✌🏿 - I do not own any rights to the original songs used. Unofficial edits made for my sets and shared with Patreon first. Not for commercial use.
