Built around an instantly memorable vocal hook, emotive synths, and deep driving house beat with subtle injection of trance euphoria, ‘Don’t Go Breaking My Heart’ finds both artists operating firmly in their sweet spot: infectious energy and a chorus designed to stay with you long after the final drop. For Joel Corry, the collaboration adds another chapter to a career that has seen him become one of the UK’s most recognisable dance artists. His breakthrough began with instant summer hits ‘Sorry’ and ‘Lonely’ before ‘Head & Heart’ with MNEK propelled him to the top of the UK Singles Chart for six consecutive weeks. Official Charts subsequently named it the UK's biggest dance track of 2020. More recently, Corry has continued to move between radio-friendly dance records, club-focused releases and high-profile remixes. His 2026 output includes ‘Stuck In A Loop’, while his production catalogue has now passed four billion Spotify streams, underlining the extraordinary reach of his serotonin-spiking sound. Hannah Boleyn, meanwhile, has established herself as one of dance music's increasingly in-demand vocal talents. Her distinctive voice has appeared across records spanning house, trance and the wider electronic spectrum, including Billy Gillies' ‘DNA (Loving You)’, which later received a Joel Corry remix. Her 2026 catalogue has already included releases such as ‘Black & Gold’ and ‘Miss Me,’ further showcasing a vocalist comfortable moving between emotive songwriting and dancefloor-focused production. Together, Joel Corry's streamlined house production gives Boleyn plenty of space to deliver a vocal with both warmth and attitude, while the track's euphoric builds and punchy drops keep the focus firmly on the dancefloor.
